This newly constructed log cabin sits on six beautiful acres of land with over 500 feet of Galien River wrapping around the property. The house offers 2400 square feet of living space spread out over three floors with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. An 850 square foot deck sits off the back of the house facing the Galien river with an additional 850 square foot screened in porch below. This house offers all the amenities of home—all you need to bring is the desire to relax. The interior was designed to make you comfortable and avoid that “rental feeling.” You can’t pick a better place if privacy is important—there are no neighbors within sight and the view from all sides is wooded. If you decide to venture out, you can enjoy the area by taking a five minute trip to downtown New Buffalo where the beach is located. Visit the quaint stores, go antique shopping, or just enjoy the many restaurants, cafes, and wineries within minutes from the house. There is even a full service day spa in the downtown area.
If you are looking for active things to do, the area offers kayak and bike rentals. Take a nice run by the lake or enjoy some of the best rolling hills for bike rides. The new Four Winds Casino is located five minutes away and whittaker Golf coarse is ten minutes from the house. You are also close to Indiana’s Lighthouse Outlet Mall.

December 1 -- June 30th: $275 weeknight, $600 weekend $1600/week
July 1st. -- Labor Day: $525/night with 4 night minimum stay, $3100/week
Sept 7th -- November 30th: $400 night with 3 night minimum stay, $2200/week
Holidays: $550 per night with 3 night minimum stay.

Our stay at your home was great. When we checked in, and saw the house in person, we couldn’t believe how truly beautiful the place was. The pictures don’t do it justice. We spent 2 wonderfully relaxing evenings playing games, sitting by the fire, preparing great dinners in the large kitchen, enjoying the hot tub that overlooks the river and just having a great time. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable and the home was more than spacious enough for our group of seven adults. Thanks again for answering all of our questions and being such a great host. We look forward to renting from you again.

Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful home. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing vacation site. The kids loved kayaking along Lake Michigan. We also enjoyed playing bocci ball and the dogs loved running in your open wooded lot.
We had a great time barbecuing and would love to come back this fall to see the leaves change and possibly in the winter to enjoy snuggling by the fireplace.

We meet up with old college friends every New Years at a cabin to relax, play games, enjoy good food, and watch movies. This is our third cabin in four years and by far our favorite. The home is immaculate and extremely well cared for. The furnishings are plush and the view is amazing. We had snow our last night and it was so cozy around the fire. Ron is a wonderful owner who I spoke with several times via e-mail and telephone. He was always very nice and helpful with any questions I had. You will be so pleased with this cabin and will want to return—just like us!
